>>3385455You're partially correct I never really intended for this set to be anything original or for it to have any potent imagery but I definitely wanted to see what happens when I include a pretty wide variety of things including classic Americana type stuff. I can see how that would give it a specific type of connotation to it so maybe in the future I'll continue to try to shoot more neutral 'suburbs of anywhere' type stuff
As for the colors I highly disagree. Whether or not I did this on MF portra or not doesn't really matter
Regardless even though you think that wasn't crit it still helps out. I've seen a lot of pushback lately at people being annoyed that I'm shooting this type of stuff and I'd love to know more of why people feel that way
