>>4005635while it is indeed much grainier than all other modern ISO 400 BW films, it's by far the cheapest film at least where i live and about as sharp as more popular BW 400 ISO options. probably my main film in 120 format rn. if you really need shadow detail, try to expose it at ISO 250 or 320, but it still looks good at ISO 400. keep in mind it has a slightly unusual spectral sensitivity curve (its overly sensitive to red-orange) so it more or less acts as if it had a built-in yellow filter. it also has quite strong halation which looks even stronger when exposed at ISO 250/320.
