ill have to remember the ISO part tho. a lot of my lightning photos are either too bright or not bright enough, so even with the phone's default settings it's still a toss up. but i think it depends on the time of day, because the photos i take during daytime storms aren't too bright usually, so i'll probably lower the ISO for nighttime storms from now on. thanks!
here's another nighttime photo. i never get that glow around lightning bolts for daytime storms, but it's definitely less drastic in this one.
