First, how do you load film to maximise shot count in 35mm?
I tried a method where you insert the leader first then pull the roll across and insert it into the slot, advance the lever once and shut the door then shoot as normal.
Apparently this gives an extra shot or two and it did the first time, this second time though the leader slipped out after 3-4 shots and I had to reseat it in the dark and advance back to frame 5.
Second question is about self-dev.
Say you have a tank that supports two 35mm rolls/one 120 roll but you only dev one 35mm roll, do you still need to mix chemicals to fill the tank as if there were two rolls in it or do you just mix chemicals according to how many rolls you're developing?
Makes me think one-shot developer is slightly better for convenience, keeping track of how many rolls re-usable developer has done seems a hassle
