That's probably it, I don't even look at the numbers, I just count clicks.

Also I solved my >>4411798 question by watching some YT tutorials on the subject, will use single-point Auto-Focus to locate the subject's depth and then move the camera around to fix composition on the 2D plane.

Also apparently my camera came with an USB cable so once I find that I can still get access to my pics on this computer.
