Print quality wise, the pro-100 is still awesome, and honestly I prefer it for prints on gloss, which I really like.
For matte printing, the pigment is better. HOWEVER - the pigment printer will clog up and die if you don't use it frequently, ie more than once a month.
Sharpness wise, they are both as good as it gets, don't fret over IQ differences.
really, the biggest issue with them is that a3+ isn't big enough to print 16x20, which is a really common frame size. A3+ is not a frame size at all, and unless you also want to start cutting custom mats (which will make the printer look pretty cheap pretty fast) 12x18 is your max "normal" print size on the smaller machine. Which looks fucking goofy, because 3:2 is absolutely plebian, so then you go looking for 12x16" frames/mats oh wait there's no such thing <:^)
