Sometimes when I get hired by bands to record concerts, I get people attending the bands complaining about me filming because they don’t want to appear on film? How do I deal with such people? Should I just ignore them and keep filming the concert; their complaints ruin good footage. Or is their another way to handle them.
I guess I could use an external hidden sound recorder in another location so I could replace their complaints with sounds from the concert.
Since the band gave me the green light to record, so I really need to worry about people complaining about me invading their privacy. The bands play at bars, so the people complaining are as drunk as fuck. Even if I am in the right I don’t want drunk assholes destroying my gear.
Would insurance against equipment damage protect me from drunk asshats destroying my stuff?
Could I get into trouble if I just ignored the assholes and continued filming.
Help me I’m a autist, what is the best way for me to deal with this situation.
