>>2580798You do know fuji supplies the lens system for Hasselblad H series right?
Their digital colour rendition and experience is quite(!) fine. They are very good at preserving/emulating their old film profiles as well..
Like, who the fuck created Velvia/Provia...at least google a bit?
>>2580812Yeap, and if you try to emulate a film colouring digitally to make a preset, without the immense colouring background of the company/team who created those films, you will most likely fail in tones you dont see in that moment..
Preset by definition yeah behaves same, yet different sensors, different gamuts, and different raw processors kindda fucks it up, especially when the licensing kicks in.
ie. That is why VSCO still havent supports Capture One, or Nikons NEF colouring is still not %100 god damn true in Adobe camera raw.
Custom presets are cool and critically needed, dont get me wrong, I do also really prefer spending time adjusting a profile before the commercial shoots I makee to pay the bills etc..and regardless of age, you get to learn more and more.
Its just these fuji dudes are getting better and better on delivering on a very specific line.
"Muh film highlights n colouring"...and it feels very nice to carry a small compact machine that you really love to use without hauling shittons of gear.
I can recommend X100T(S) if it fits the bill and type of camera you seek. It would be perfect if only it had more on the AF speed, Resolution/dpi, and...yeah thats it I guess. Ah and yeah, and maybe battery life (300ish raw+jpg as of now)
