The stuff i mentioned seemed like common sense stuff to me. I think the most overkill thing would be the tripod but I want to do some cool time lapse stuff and i dont see that bring feasible without one.
Another unrelated question in the meantime though: do you guys think it would be a bad idea to take this thing kayaking? Theres a river nearby with tons of cool scenery and nature, its extremely mellow so pretty much no chance of flipping over or something stupid. Its also weather-sealed so if it got dripped on from the kayak paddles it shouldnt be an issue, right? Again im sure im asking some pretty retarded common sense questions but considering i dont know anything, i just want to be safe and ask anyways.
