>>3908637kek, I hadn't realized I was talking to you. But trust me, swivel screens are underrated. The ones that pander to vloggers usually go up or down.
>>3908640>All of that can be done with a flip up as well, and it's done faster and more efficient. With flip out you flip it out, then need to turn it up again, and you need to repeat the procedure when you're back to normal shooting. Plus, it's off side from the camera. Flip up is naturally positioned right under the lens. Only advantage of flip out is that it allows easier positioning of low portrait orientation photography.Flip up is a vlogger favorite though and so is flip down. Best things out there are swivel and Pentax's flex-tilt. And swivel has the advantage of allowing you to have the screen facing the body so that it's more protected when you're not using it. It also allows you to use the camera sideways just like Pentax's flex-tilt.
Nikon's DSLRs aren't vlogger cameras, the AF sucks in live view and the video options are rather limited. But they're a joy to use.
>Now, all of this is moot and pointless, because all of the manufacturers use shitty, low resolution, low bit, false colours, glaring screens.I mean, it's enough to compose and focus.
