>>3885208The 50mm isn't great for general purpose shooting on it's own but really I take a lot of 'normal' photos with it without a problem. It gives you just the right amount of reach without getting into that telephoto range where you need to be a lightyear away from your subject.
Of course you should couple it with something else.
