My Sony and Nikon shooting friends would say...and I would agree...that most of the time the colors are fine and easy to work with. But sometimes Sony/Nikon have a rendering that's just weird and difficult to edit into something pleasing.
Understand I've had this conversation while reviewing Canon and Nikon shots from the same exact day/scene/lighting, and it came up because I had some of my shots printing while a friend was still fucking around on the computer and unhappy with the result.
But keep believing whatever you want. In fact, I bet my opinion on weather sealing is purely "right brand/wrong brand" too. Take your Sony out in the rain.
