If they made them native EF or F mount, it would have to be retardedly thick and you might as well make it a dslr at that point, because the mount is designed for the mirror box anyway.
This is why you can adapt dslr lenses to mirrorless but not the other way around. Canon and I'm sure Nikon already have adapters for their slr glass to their mirrorless mount, which is the best way to do it.
