>>3200771Well that's awesome if you can get one. I have the ATL-2 which is rather automated. You program the steps and fluid volume, keep the chemicals fresh, and there isn't much you have to do while it develops. Just stabilize and hang to dry when it's done.
That said, the ATLs are pretty old by now and potentially less reliable than some of the newer CPPs and CPEs (of which I know very little about). My understanding with those is that all they do is control the temp and the agitation (rotation) for you. You then use a funnel like device on the machine to pour in the fluids yourself. Not really sure how they work but still they are nice machines from what I hear. Good luck on your search.
