Coupled with the fact that I use film, and that I use more specialised lenses, flashes, etc than most film shooters choose, it's essentially a difficulty multiplier too far for most people.
Some of my photos could be taken near enough with a handheld 50mm, sure. But not on fine grained film, and not with a stopped down aperture, and not in forest lighting conditions, and then not scanned so well, so really they'd probably look like shit, or at least nothing like mine.
So while you're all happy to bash up my leaf photos, I know that the work behind them makes them somewhat unique regardless of how aesthetically uninteresting they are to you.
