>>3601300>what do you mean hold the light meter ?you're talking about the meter that built inside your camera right ? you just pick the frame and the camera picks the speed or the camera tells you the speed with an indicator, needle etc.
and you set the speed yourself after reading it from the camera

So in manual mode the ISO is set to the films iso? I point my camera, set up focus and then hold the meter and manipulate aperture/ shutter speed so the line is in the circle. I then shoot.
In auto mode I just set focus and then shoot?
