>>4343103Call me retard all you like but Im not willing to risk pirating software like this, especially when all photos I upload will be marked as edited by it. I know its not photo related but I still remember how AutoDesk treat people who dare to pirate their software and I assume that other big companies are the same.
>>4343105>>4343104>>4343101>>4343090>>4343099Im getting confused here. I was using DT for quite long time until one anon (perhaps one of you in fact) pointed out that my photos, when modified in Darktable, have odd or messed up colors. Im unable to completely abandon RAWs due to my still developing skills (at least in my own opinion but I do notice frequent fuckups at exposition). I want to do things right so I tried that NX Studio for faithful color reproduction. And it seems to work in that regard. I still miss some functions I got used up with DT like their "equalizer" module but I also see that NX handles noise reduction much better, avoiding "melting" people with high ISO.
Here is current example, from left - NX with slight tweaks, DT 2.6 (I know there is 4.6 already but each major version changes way too much, like removing "obsolete" module, including fucking removal of "brightness/contrast/saturation" sliders in favour of some new "lights/shadows" module, holy shit) with basic stuff I would normally do and DT working on TIFF imported from NX, which, at least to me, looks rather odd.
Again, I just want to do things right. Im sorry.
>capture one is $179 annually - $14.91 a month is less than one hour of workActually, soon enough, as physicist at national institute in my country, I will be paid equivalent of around 5$ per hour. [spoiler:lit]Pretty funny when operating hardware like electron microscopes worth few million.[/spoiler:lit]. So no, its quite costly. If Im going to invest into software, it must be life-time license and it must be good choice. I saw that DXO is also having good opinions and cost less for lifetime.
