Marine Corps photographer so I have access to an ass load of gear. We shoot with either Canon 5D mkIII’s or, primarily, 1DX’s with photo kits issued standard with 70-200 f/2.8 USM II, 24-70 f/2.8 II, and 50mm f/1.4 lenses. Each kit comes with two bodies and one of each lens as well as two EX-600 II SpeedLights. Anything else we want, we just ask for and give a valid reason for needing it and we are given access to mostly outdated but useful equipment and as much of it as we want. It’s a great gig. Video Marines have a similar setup with C100 mkII’s instead of 1DX’s
