What do you think of these options:
1- Nikon D7000 camera body + Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 AF D lens
2-Canon EOS RP with adapter + Canon 50mm f/1.8 EF II lens
These are recommended by an online dating guide for taking portraits (link below), which is the main thing I want to do with them. However, if possible, I would also like to use the camera to take landscape pictures, pictures of cliff faces, up-close (not microscopic) plants, rocks/crystals as part of my work (geology/botany). I've only ever used my smartphone to take photos, aside from playing around with a vintage film camera I found.
