Finally got decent light and an angle on them.
They are an hour away from me in the middle of nowhere and I only have a window of about 30 minutes to see them. I've been making daily trips at dusk before they are gone. Very skittish. Only get one chance each time I find them before they take off.
Still have no idea where the nest is. Searched for hours during daylight and found nothing but ticks. I picked about 80 of them off in the past few days. The deer I've seen in that area are coated in them too. Nasty.
