The fact that I can get the 55-210 off eBay for literally 1/5 the price of the Tamron and less than 1/6 the price of the Sony 70-350 really counts for something. Especially since they all have about the same aperture. My only concern is the functional 315mm focal length not being enough for my lofty ambitions and being unhappy with the lens because of that.
