>>4403426Yeah, and the pros back in the day had the benefit of super fast films that just don't exist anymore. One day I may try to shoot some birds on Kodak P3200 once I get my hands on a Minolta Alpha 9 (shutter speeds up to 1/12000 and 5.5fps auto drive) but that's about the fastest film you can get and it's black and white. Colorwise you're stuck trying to push Portra 800 or one of the various 500T repacks to 1600, since Fuji discontinued Natura 1600 in 2017.
I took pic rel on my digital body but using a manual focus 400mm Sigma that I got for my Minolta X700, and it's a miracle that it came out as good as it did.
