Probably want a zoom that covers as large of a focal range as possible
As fast of a lens as you can get cause low light shooting.
Good metering and focus accuracy because autofocus is going to be faster that you focusing.
High frame rate to capture the right stuff at the right moment (7D Mk2 & D500 both shoot 10fps)
High ISO capabilities cause low light shooting
Image stabilization/Vibration Reduction cause crack addiction.
Weather sealed body & lens cause shit happens.
