The only way lenses can be made smaller for mirrorless is "unacceptable" in this gearfag controlled market because you have two options: slower apertures, or symmetrical lenses. Symmetrical wide angles at these flange distances have too much vignetting for people and not enough room to correct every aberration known to man. This is a 20mm L mount lens.
