Got a Helios 81H in Nikon native mount recently. Didn't even know russian lens came in nikon mount. Almost no literature on this lens online aside from few russian sites. Same Biotar design as the 44M. Coatings look really good, same shades as Nikon glass but actual color rendering is different and contrast is slightly lowered. Supposedly also gives swirly bokeh although not as much as 44M. Lens is pancake size, same dimensions as the pancake nikkor 50 1.8 but heavier. I wonder why no one talks about this lens?
