Despite having removed features, worsened the UI, reduced storage, AND restricted the number of groups you can post photos in - they still think their users are wrong for not paying out for their meagre accounts.
I think it's a shame that it's probably going to finally die, because it is a decent place to showcase your work, but the benefits of going pro are so completely minimal. And the alternatives, Instagram, tumblr, etc, are very minimalistic and less intuitive for finding specific imagery. Companies still rely on Flickr regularly for stock photos, event shots or artwork. But what can be done. Ho hum.
