Sure, pixel density has an effect on image quality, but it's completely insignificant compared to lens quality, and if you take 2 cameras of the same MP count, one FF, one crop, the FF one has twice as large pixels, so the lens has to resolve half as much detail per mm to have the same amount of resolution and sharpness. This is a very simple concept, I think only someone with a genuine learning disability would struggle with it.

Full frame has 864mm2 sensor area
Crop has 329-380mm2 depending on if it's canon or Sony sensor, as you can see, crop is considerably less than half the size of full frame.
Imagine spending the same amount of money for just over a third of the camera, lol.
