Now unlike probably many here, I certainly don't mind a short comment under the photo to get your mind going where the artist intends.
While I'm no expert on visual storytelling and certainly don't know what makes a photo soulful, anither anon outlined that this has all the basic technically competent ingredients - I am certain that with more shooting you can nail down a personal style.
