I want to go very light for mountain hikes, the tripod will only be used at night for milky way photography, and will only have to support less than 1Kg of camera+lens. I don't need the tripod to be taller than me, if it goes up to like 80cm in height, that's more than good enough, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for it to be sub 800g.
I feel like the offering simply doesn't exist on the market.
Tripods using hiking poles won't be an option for me, my hiking poles already are used for my tent.
Worst comes to worst I could always get an Ulanzi Zero Y or a Neewer, but that's a bit overkill for my use.
