If you were trying to show the street you should be aiming to have a closer perspective, either a zoom or just going down there.
Unlike the first shot there is a bit going on so it does feel better, even slightly busier but I feel like I can't see what you're trying to show me.
As an example, what is the point of pic related?
What am I trying to show you? Consider this when taking photographs.
Also, if the building on the left was meant to be in the frame you could maybe try going slightly over to the left or right depending on how much of it you want shown.
