I didn't think a more modern camera would be worse, but pro nikons do get people used to high standards. the quality is shit, no offense xD here's a pic of mine taken at 20000iso, 2,8 as I was really simping for light and 1/100s, a bit cropped no tampering with noise. I just noticed that x-h 1 is a bit more expensive than xt 2 used and seems much better for my line of work and I'd guess that AF and iso at at least 12800 would be good for this kind of camera +obvious filming capabilities and given the fact that it's pretty modern. as you can see the lens quality is not really that important in these situations, so the tiny and lightweight (my sigma is almost 1kg) xf 18 should be fine as long as it's not useless during day and for occasional street/travel. I'd propably buy the kit zoom as 28 equivalent wouldn't be too comfortable in event photography, but currently there are no event's to photograph so that's a thought for the future.
