I think it's good, but I feel like the main disadvantages are its fixed focal length - it's like having a prime lens you can't swap out for something else, and the fact that negatives come out "upside down" due to how the film is loaded. It's also less precise than a manual film advance lever, and it also skips past exposures 00 and 0, meaning you always get 37 exposures out of 36 exposure film, where in a more basic camera, you can get 39 or even 40 shots out of 36 exposure film.
