So, with that in mind you are taking the same scene with a FF and an M4/3 which means what? the M4/3 is having to be the crop factor equivalent distance AWAY from the subject. Less signal, more noise.I think I just had a different understanding going on. Yes, if taking an equivalent image, cropped sensors have to stand farther away, and then we're at the mercy of inverse square law.
Fortunately, I don't really have an interest in shooting stuff in low light that moves too quickly anyway, so despite owning a cropped sensor I should be able to compensate by having longer exposures, right?
