>>4088680>Are there 3rd party primes you'd recommend?you can't just ask for a prime recommendation without telling us what you want to shoot, what you want to use them for.
that said out of all the mid range priced and cheaply priced prime lenses, the best of the best are;
2016 version of the sony 50mm 1.8,
sony 55mm ZA,
sony 90mm 2.8,
sony 35mm 1.4 ZA,
sony 50mm 1.4 ZA,
all of the GM lenses,
all of the Zeiss Batis/Milvus/Loxia lenses,
all of the Voigtlander lenses,
sony 16-35mm f4 ZA,
tamron 17-35mm f2.8-4
those are just the ones i remembered atm. a must have lens is the 90mm f2.8 macro. that shit is better than all ZA and GM lenses and is on par with zeiss and voigtlaner lenses. that 90mm is so good that i sold my 85GM because i never used it, i always picked up the 90 instead of 85GM. the only downside is the f2.8 max, which if you do portraits, fashion or similar, you wont have a problem with because youll be at f2.8-f4 or f8 and higher anyways. also, that 90mm is one of the top 5 sharpest lenses ever made still to this date. pic related shot with 90mm 2.8 macro
