In that photo there's nothing that couldn't be done by using a longer lens and framing. I assume that you already don't shoot a lot of pano work already since you don't have an xpan and wouldn't spend more than 400 on a film camera. I'll jump the gun and also assume that you don't regularly stitch pano either.
I'm aware that by even bringing up stitch pano I'm inviting retarded captain obvious replies about action and stopping motion in one frame. You don't need to point it out, even though some asshole will.
