I bought a slide copier accessory to mount on a macro lens that took a lot of the bullshit out of the process, and I've been happy scanning that way for my 35mm now. I don't know if that's really an option for m4/3 though with the hefty crop factor.
If you shoot plenty of 120 a flatbed is going to be by far the least hassle, and the results can be quite good for 120 and passable for 35mm
