Public Service Announcement: All the shit-head college students are dumping the camera equipment they used in their one-semester photography classes right now. Prices and supply aren't really affected, but professionalism absolutely is.
I bought three items off ebay in the past couple weeks, two used lenses and a used camera body, all from different sellers. One of the lenses was literally sent in a flexible padded mailer with bits of cardboard and Christmas wrapping paper inside the package (it seems undamaged, but I haven't been able to test it to make sure it isn't broken, so I can't say for sure). The other lens had a hidden defect (cracked mount) and I had to get a refund from the seller, who apparently had no idea it was broken. And the camera body was "shipped" a week ago, but the fuckstick seller only dropped the package off at the post office today (10 days after date of purchase) -- he said he was "traveling," although I'm guessing he was just partying and couldn't be bothered.
