We don't really buy cheap beginners equipment here, we buy higher end stuff whether or not we like the hobby and then if we get salty about not progressing we sell it for what we bought it for and never look back. First gen OM-D for $200? Screw that, only a Gibson™ is good enough.
This is not because we are rich. This is because we are poor and spending a few hundred on something that will be hard to sell is less financially responsible. If anything you buy the nice shit first, then sell it, and buy the cheaper keeper later.
