Next try was Colorperfect plugin for photoshop, which worked fine at first, but did not give consistent results. I suspect the negative scans were not good enough.
I tried scanning the same frame three times without changing ANY settings, and got three different color tones... Unless I am too stupid to use this thing, I think it might be broken.
