A tiny-ass sensor is still a sensor and it produces legitimate results. I own a DSLR but if it's out of reach I'll gladly utilize my phone.
But I do agree that the dudes that let their phone take control and use the overdenoised, interpolated trash the common apps spit out are a plague.
