I want to get into flash photography but I can't spend that much. Does anyone own the EL-100? I looked into forum posts and reviews but they left me confused because people were mentioning how Canon cameras works best with Canon flashes. I know 3rd party has excellent choices for a lower price but I wasn't sure if that was better for slave instead of master. I do have a pop-up flash but my camera can't be used in a master mode, unless maybe with flash triggered slaves if I understood the product descriptions correctly. The EL-100 has high reviews but I wanted to hear more from someone that owns one.
