>>3534472So I finally got around to taking a photo of one of my old copies. May 1988. Took it RAW and then color corrected with the photo with the magazine right in front of me. The real copies are fairly desaturated and have much better dynamic range and less black clipping.
In some instances the saturated DVD versions look better (while not being true to the original) and in other cases the saturation makes it look worse. The worst part of this DVD collection is the black clipping.
