>>4255356The backgrounds are usually quite out of focus for me. With the starling it just kinda was a quick set of shots, so I'm getting some idea at least. Would maybe also help if I got a better telephoto because I just have the kit 70-300mm, I just feel like the subject should also be sharper. I used a more expensive 50mm prime and the difference between that and the 18-55mm kit lens was unreal.
