Discords, telegrams, IRC channels etc are universally recognized as forum killers
Eventually they basically constitute a parasitic raiding group that recruits from their target community but never contributes except for low value shitposting.
They never contribute on the host site because 1: their REAL friends are in the chatroom, they only want attention from THEM and 2: they miss having an outlet for negative opinions that would get them booted from the 10 man homosex club 3: they can't post both the spicy takes AND their real contributions here because then an IP wipe or something would alert people into connecting the dots, and knowing how 4chan works, at least one person in each discord ends up becoming a janny/mod JUST for the clout among their "friends"
