Outstanding ultrawide lens made in all the popular mounts, I would argue the sharpest and best UW lens made in the 70s. If you have one you know. World-class handling and definitely the ultrawide lens of choice for any older system, even on digital it makes wonderful images on par with top-shelf Nikon ED glass. It will hang all day with my 15-30/2.8 VC Tamron lens.
I talked my private seller down to 580 for my copy in Nikon mount. This was right around 2020, and all 5 of these lenses have sat on ebay for moon money since, and before when I bought mine.
There's a lot of this going on, lot of stuff sitting for too much money even by my lofty standards of disposable income. I would imagine these will come down at some point and I bet you could talk the 999 one down.
