I took my first camera out to the park to go shooting for the first time. Between the 120 pictures over 3 hours, none have any value and only a two are even mildly interesting. I had a couple of spots in mind to check out and when I got to each I was overwhelmed with how clueless I was on setting up an interesting shot. The whole time I was out I could only think about how I didn't know what I was doing.
I opened a post-processor for my 2 images and that feeling was only compounded. This was supposed to be a 'test run' to feel out the camera and see if I could produce a clear exposure and now I am apprehensive about going into the city to try again.
It feels like it would take a lifetime to learn how to do this well. May it will.
