>>4021344I’m reading a half to one stop difference using the spot meter, depending on what I point at. The LZOS filter that came on my Jupiter 9 is labeled Ж - 1,4x and is giving negligible results using this really hackneyed test but usually reads about a stop under ambient TTL on my Pentax. 1.4x is 1/2 a stop.
1 stop or less for a wratten 8 yellow, light yellow or similar seems to work in practice. More and you blow out well lit foliage and faces. I tend to overexpose anyway because I shoot MF and have some water temp issues with my developer from time to time. Rounding your readings up to the nearest stop or meter variance will also change results.
Yellow is so pervasive because of the sun and even firelight that I personally couldn’t tell you which rolls I forgot to compensate for by the time a print or scan comes of it. A half stop underexposed is usually negligible if it’s your only issue in the chain. The only time I start riding the dials is red filters and truly devious light.
