But Canon cameras are excellent quality, have the best warranty, and gear for them is universally available. They are actually easy to use for beginners, and they offer a product at most price points. And I would guarantee there are more cheap EF mount sigma lenses for sale on marketplace right now than there are fuji lenses total in my city.
They are an entirely rational purchase, not everyone chooses a camera for the same reasons you do.
