>>3925024i was friends with one of the band's guitarists in high school, he had me take pictures of another show they had last year before covid hit and i really enjoyed it. if where you live has any sort of an independent music scene i highly recommend seeking out some shows and just shooting. in my experience they're all completely cool with whoever just coming and taking pictures of em. specifically hardcore and punk shows, there's so many opportunities for interesting composition and poses. people have wild expressions on their faces, they're moving all over the place, moving constantly and smashing into each other. it's both artistically and physically a very fulfilling experience. it's a fun challenge and any photographer with the confidence for it should try it out
