All you need to do is stop them down, for their sharpest usually that'll fall between f5.6-f8.. but stopping down too much may make it softer due to diffraction
Plus, If the subject if good enough, the aperture setting is irrelevant, even if the picture is kinda soft, the most important part is what you shoot, and how you frame it. If you have a good photo, it doesn't matter if you can't see every fiber in their shirt, or every blade of grass in the extreme far corner.
